Gather.town and CONFlux
If you have registered for this conference, login credentials to access the EFTF-IFCS 2021 Virtual Platform will be emailed to you prior to July 7th at 00:00 UTC.
Attendees will receive a customizable avatar in Gather.town upon entering the virtual platform. Gather.town is primarily geared toward facilitating 1:1 and small group interactions. The system is designed around proximity-based interation so that as you get closer to other attendees, each of your video and audio will become activated. Avatars will be used to walk around the exhibit hall and attend the live poster sessions.
Attendees will navigate through the Poster Hall to attend live poster sessions. During live poster sessions, attendees will be able to view posters while simultaneously discussing the poster with the presenter.
On-demand content will be accessible through the left navigation menu of the EFTF-IFCS 2021 virtual platform. Attendees will use the buttons on the left navigation menu to access live plenary sessions, on-demand lecture presentations, asynchronous Q&A, and more.
